The computer at this YHA does not want to play so can't upload my photos now so will do it when we get to Queenstown this evening. To be continued later..................
Part deux: So now its 7.30pm, so i can complete todays entry. After going on the internet this morning, we thought about doing a second walk around Mt Cook. When i say thought about it, we thought about it for a couple of seconds and then thought, no - lets sit in the cafe, read Heat and NOW magazine, drink tea and look out at the view of Mt Cook!
Got our bus at 2:15pm to take us to Queenstown. We stopped along the way at a cute place called Mrs Jones' Orchard where loads of different fruits are grown. So many different varieties of apples, plums, peaches etc - very tasty.
Arrived in Queenstown at 6pm this evening. Its a fairly big town set amongst the mountains so is very picturesque. Already seen signs for sky dives, bungy jumps etc so will have to plan when our outdoor adventures will begin when Chris arrives on Friday!
Staying at Discovery Lodge Hostel which is very central and part of the Base chain. We leave early tomorrow morning for Dunedin but then return to Queenstown for 3 nights and have booked to stay at this hostel again.
