Lake Tekapo

Lake Tekapo 14th - 17th February 2009

Lake Tekapo is a stunning turquoise jewel. The water is the most incredible colour, but ICE cold. We spent our time visiting the very gorgeous Church of the Good Shepherd which is on the shore of the lake, walking up Mount John for some cracking views of the lake, playing crazy golf (I won! - Emily had the only hole in one!), and I waterskiied on the lake. We also swam (briefly!) in the lake and to warm up we went to the hotpools. A fantastic place to visit.
