Leaving Ayers Rock Airport we met Mike and Karen who promptly introduced themselves by asking me if my wife was Korean. Of course we responded as such and left it at that. His wife is Japanese. Next time we saw them was on the same same tour with us in Melbourne. They were on another bus but we met them at a farm. We did the Penguin Parade and guess what they were there again. This was getting weird because we were on separate itineraries. Were they following us.......????????

Well, we figured that was it and we would never see them again, but the next night in the middle of Melbourne downtown, we hopped on a crowded Tram, ( What are the odds of seeing this couple again.) RIGHT SMACK DAB IN THE CENTER ROW we ran into them again. Well that did it. I confronted them and asked them to go for supper and explain themselves. A very nice couple indeed from CA USA.

The Penguin Parade was amazing. As I said we bumped into that couple there and they invited us to their seats and what luck it was the first row. While the Penguins were waddling

This museum was free and one of the best I have been to ever. The displays were informative as well as interactive
up the beach in groups of 5 - 30 each I struck up a conversation with the PARK Ranger and befreinded him. 20 minutes later I managed to get 6 of us into a special viewing area to see these amazing Penguins up close. The Penguins are shy to come onto the beach because they are scared of being eatin by Birds of Prey. They however do not mind humans viewing them at a distance.

We flew to New Zealand landed in ChristChurch and took some local Tours such as a simulation of Antartica. ChristChurch is a laid back sort of town where everyone seems to go indoors by 7:30 PM. After 3 days we hopped on a bus to Queensland and stopped along the way to view some sights. We also did a fantastic tour of Milford Sound in the Southern Alps and took a boat with a buffet lunch on the boat. Along the way we saw huge waterfalls flowing off the mountainess terrain into the Sound. We also saw seals sunbathing on rocks. New Zealand is a prestine country with lots of outdoorsy type stuff to do. You can raft, paraglide, fish, hike, camp, rent a

camper, and so on and feel safe and happy. The cities are small and clean. The drinking water is pure. We took a hike the next day into the Alps along a quiet secluded trail along the side of a mountain. To get there we road a Gondola to one peak and then climbed the trail. We felt like we in the the movie the Sound of Music, if you remember when the lead was on top of the mountain twirling around while singing. No I wasn't singing to scare the wildlife!!!!!
