well, kate and i have officially come to the end of our Kiwi Experience :'(

we arrived in christchurch a couple of days ago, and decided to take a spontaneous trip to Kaikoura to see the dolphins. (encouraged by our canadian friends who had just returned from kaikoura...) We went swimming with Wild Dusky Dolphins. which was amazing. they were so close you could touch them... and there were hundreds of them too! definately one of the best things ive done here... :D

but yes. christchurch is a hole. less so than auckland as at least is fairly pretty. but theres not much to do. ive had to resort to the tried and tested means of entertainment : Art Gallerys and Cathedrals. infact im ment to be meeting kate at the cathedral... now. :S
shopping here is rubbish too. which doesnt make me happy!

we are off to Melbourne on Monday. so hopefully things should pick up then (shopping wise at least! bad bad bad.. shopping drinks the funds...)

now that weve done NZ im actually ready to leave... but its one of those countries which i would happily come back and visit lots. :D its amazing. so beautiful... it reminds me of england without the english and a few more mountains! but its brilliant.

i expect that the next entry will be from Oz 😊
