Annie10April 29th 2007 Once again, Butler planned a great little excursion. This time we met at the train station and got on the Tarieri George Train for a two hour ride through the Otago Region. The inside of the train was really cute and old fashion and the views from the train were so pretty, stuff that we wouldn’t get to see if there wasn’t a train running through it. The train stops in this small little town where we got off and had lunch. Then we got on bikes and rode along the Rail Trail which is a portion of the train track that was taken out and made into a dirt path for bikers. The weather was perfect and it was so pretty to ride through all the fall colors. We rode bikes for about a hour and then got on a bus that took us back to Dunedin.
