Wellington Rugby Sevens Day 2

A few minor adjustments to our outfits then off to the stadium for day 2. England didn’t play until 3.30 so we had a good look around the stadium. There was a dodge ball competition going on where the winners won beer for a year it was really funny watching people dressed up play dodge ball. The quarters started and England were second to play, after a slow start they got it together in the second half and beat Fiji. New Zealand also made it though. We found out bee and space men friends along with, Ninja turtles and jokers and settled in for a long session… The semis came around and England made it though to the final against the home nation. A few more finals were played and many more drinks were consumed before the main event. England started badly against the hosts but managed to steal it in the closing seconds!!! What a result we left happy and headed to the bars and clubs after a few more drinks back to bed to another early start.
