Wellington City Cable CarThe windiest city in the world supposedly.. and they wern't far wrong. What a change in temperature as we left Merlbourne in the 40 degree heat to be welcomed by the cold and wind of Wellington. It was Paddys day when we arrived though and so did the only decent thing an got smashed..!! We were eager to head off as soon as possible though as the hostels were a bit on the expensive side. We got lucky a few days later though and managed to pick up a car to our relief and managed to catch some sights before heading up North.. althought theres not much to see in wellington to be fair apart from Te Papa Museum which takes a whole day itself to see.
