So, Alex dropped Danielle and I off in Wellington on saturday morning (strange to think its still saturday night where you are) we went to the Te Papa museum, which is the best museum in New Zealand apparently (it was good but aimed at kids, although i found out some interesting info on the mating habits of the angler fish, check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglerfish#Aspects_of_reproduction) and then moved into my new house 128 Abel Smith street, i'll put up some photos of it soon. Then helped Danielle move into here house a little distance up the road and said goodbye and thankyou to Alex).
128 is an amazing place. It's a community centre, with meetings going on, people staying short-term, bike workshops and bands practicing. So there are lots of people about (i was introduced to about 20 people in as many minutes) and i have to stay in the bunk room for another week until one of the 'caretaker' rooms opens up, which means i have no space to myself, even to unpack my bag, which is hard, but not for much longer, then i get a big room 😊
There was a house meal of chili, then i was invited out to a party where i met god knows how many people and drank a fair amount. It was excellent, everyone has been nice, and i've met some people who i would really like to hang out with more.
Oh, on friday danielle and i went for a walk in levin and stumbled upon a randon 22 acre nature reserve, which is all indiginous animals so is full of wierd birds, which i unfortunately failed to photo. Other than that we failed to do anything else of interest in Levin before we left.
Midnight espresso haven't been in contact so i'm gonna go bother them today
