16th February Wellington
The following morning it’s coming down in stair rods really “P…..g” down not conducive to walking around a City tried to find a car park ,tried 2 multi story options both full !finally found a meter for an hour ,then went o the maritime museum. When I came out still raining so gave up and headed for Parmaston North about 2 hour up the road .At least Wellington has some fine buildings.
I found a place to stay and just took it easy for the rest of the day The country now very different to the South Island, lot more traffic (the South has population of 1 million the North 3 million)
Parmaston North not of much interest apart from it has the Official NZ Rugby Museum.
So popped into there before leaving .some interesting artifacts and again brought back vivid memories of yesteryear
