Auckland on the hop on hop off bus is a site to behold. The ferry terminal/wharf is a bit like a more modern circular quay very impressive layout along with the winning Americas cup yacht sitting proudly on display by the gates. Auckland is home to more than 1/4 of NZ population of 4million and more thn 50% own boats,"you do the maths "the wharf loads 1800 20' cargo containers everyday We would love to have time to visit all the stops but once again you would only get about 30 min at each place that dosent make it worth outlaying another $30-60 per stop to take it all in. The view from Sky tower is amazing the glass floors are very unnerving, and the sky jump dosent even get a mention on our radar but amazingly enough they are queuing up in their droves to have a turn. 
The museum bld is absolutely enormous and a masterpiece of architecture overlooking the city,the sight alone is worth the trip
