Bay of islands

Today was going to be the Bay of islands another tender port until we went for a walk on the deck last night to see the ship pulling out of Auckland.
The long and short of that little excursion put paid to our plans by leaving Di with a twisted foot and a visit to the medical centre. An xray confirmed there was no breaks just badly sprained which means keeping the foot off the ground for 24-48hrs 
No fun No Fair !!!! 
Being able John made a visit to land to take photos and cancel our lunch cruise whilst Di stayed on board in a wheel chair.
Waitangi where they signed the peace treaty with many maori tribes is a picturesque bay and home to many yachts and parasailing seems to be a popular sport.
 After today we loose coverage from both 2 degrees and Optus until we reach Sydney.
