Beautiful grounds of Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple

The weather was quite nice today - typical as we were packing up. We left Mary’s. Before booking into our hotel, we drove to the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple. Very impressive buildings and gardens with the cherry blossoms in bloom. There was an embroidery exhibition of a 38 year old Chinese, Yao Hong Ying. In 2005 she was encouraged to pass on her art. She has been embroidering since she was 8. It was a wonderful exhibition of art. Just beautiful. Unfortunately, we could not take any photos or get any literature. We then drove to Botany Shopping Centre to a café, Hollywood. What budget prices for great food. Mary then drove us to the City and back to the Best Western hotel. Janice, John and their friends, Adele and Tony were there and it was now that we said goodbye to Janice and John. At 2.00 Jeenah joined us once more and we caught the free bus down to the Quay once more to get some information and brochures and then returned on the bus again. We could have been waiting for quite awhile as we were sitting on the wrong side of the road. After

a bit of a rest, we went to the Sky Tower and into the Reba Café for a meal and then back to the hotel and bed.
