We'd been warned that it wasn't worth the trip but we decided we couldn't go to NZ without seeing Auckland. I can understand why travellers tend to stay away, it's really hectic and a nightmare to get around the city by car, parking's also a waste of time and expensive. Pretty much nothing to do for travellers apart from work.. so we left in a hurry.
