One of the two boats!

Bonjour tout le monde!!

Ca fait deja trois jours que je suis a Auckland et je commence a m'habituer au decalage horraire. Je suis dans une auberge jeunesse appele Base Auckland. C'est quand meme assez gros, pres d'une centaine de personnes y dors chaque nuit.
Les deux premiers jours ont ete occupes a connaitre la ville une peu et m'installer comfortablement. Aujourd'hui ma journee va etre assez simple. A deux heures j'embarque sur un des bateaux qui a participe a la coupe America!!! Ce sera une balade de deux heures en face d'Auckland. J'ai vraiment hate!!! Je vous en direz plus lorsque je serai revenu de ce periple...
A part de ca il n'y a pas grand chose qui se passe... J'ai rencontre des personnes d'un peu partout (Autriche, Danemark, Etats-Unis, Australie...) Tout le monde s'entendent bien. C'est assez bizzare parcontre, personnes ne commencent de conversation. Il faut les pousser, se presenter en premier et la ils commencent a parler.

Hi everybody!

It's already been three days that I'm in Auckland and I'm starting to get used to the jetlag. I'm in a hostel called Base Auckland.

Gros Bateau

Je voulais juste ajouter des photos de gros bateaux... Un jour... Peutetre...

It's pretty big, close to 100 people sleeping here...
The two first days were used to know the city and it's streets and to settle myself comfortably. Today my day will be pretty simple. At 2o'clock I'm getting on one of the boats that raced in the America's cup! I'm really thrilled!! It's going to be a 2 hour ride in front of Auckland. Bseides that there's not much going on. I'm meeting people from around the world. It's pretty weird though. they are not very talkative. I have to satrt the conversation by introducing myself for them to do the same...

Anyway, you'll have to excuse me... I'm going sailing!

I have been thinking of that trip for the past two years. At first it was only supposed to last 3 months. Then 8 months. I settled for 6. It was supposed to be only in one country: New Zealand. But since I was in the area, why not go to Australia as well? But since I was in the area, why not go to Asia? And since I was going to meet Ashley in Paris 5 months later, why not go around the world, go trough Dubai, arrive in Paris and then go to Vienna, Budapest and Prague?
