Finally gonna add some pictures. Today we took a ferry out to Rangitoto island and hiked around 6-7 miles of rough, lava-rock terrain to the peak of a volcano and around the island. Our feet now hurt very badly, but it was well worth it.

Lone Tree

An island right next to the one we were on, but almost all of it was grass, rather than the rainforest feeling of the island we were on.
