My two years working at the American Consulate in Guangzhou, China is complete. I am off to new adventures at a new location. I am now working at the US Army Missile Test Range on the island of Kwajalein in The Republic of the Marshall Islands. A collection of fishnet floats. The float up on the shoreline of Kwaj every now and then. I found two beautiful green glass floats about 18in in dia. which I will try to turn into some type of lamp.

Due to raising sea levels, and Kwajalein being only a few feet above sea level, much of the shoreline has to be reinforced with stone to prevent erosion.

Transportation for the most part on Kwaj is by bicycle as no personal vehicles are allowed on the island.
