Well, we finally arrived in Guam. We left home on October 19, 2010 at 3:00 a.m. Chicago time. Three airplanes and 24 hours later we touched down in Guam Oct 20 at 3:00 a.m. Chicago time (6:00 p.m., Oct. 20 Guam time). So, we lost a day getting here but will gain it back on the trip home. Anyway, we stepped out of the Guam International Airport into very hot, very humid weather. And this will not change while we are here. We will be doing some educational sightseeing for the blog and hope you enjoy it. Cute as they are, no one wants a steady diet of our grandchildren and their antics—cute as they may be. Although, we hope you will enjoy what we do post.

We will be getting acclimated for the next few days. Staying with our son and his family for now but will be looking for a place to live very soon.

It is now October 24. We think we may have a line on an apartment down the street from Chris and Stacey and the kids. Hope it works out. We’ve had a chance to settle in to the time change and get all systems back on track. I probably won’t post again until we are settled in completely. Enjoy the pictures I’ve posted with this entry.
