Well only one month to go and with the end in sight makes us feel a bit anxious about saying goodbye to this magical place. All good things must come to an end so we are going to make the most of the next few weeks we have left. The big mower we use to mow the compound has had the biscuit and is going back to Flinders next week so we will be if nothing else fit by the time we go home. We had to mow the compound with the deutscher this week and it took two days between us to get it done but get it done we did. Some of you will appreciate the amount of walking around and around in ever decreasing circles it took to get it done too. Spud figures we will probably have to do it a couple of more times before we go home and hopefully the motor from the Tow-n-mow will be back in time for the next lot of caretakers. But I must say the compound looks really tidy and as it is a bit shorter than what the other mower does it shouldn't be so hard to mow next

time. There still hasn't been any visitors except for the feathered variety and we are enjoying the solitude I must admit. The weather hasn't been conducive to sailing around on the ocean so we have been left alone and it also hasn't been that great for walking either so we just grab whatever opportunity that comes along for a quick walk sometimes. We have seen lots of orchids too but my battery is about to die so I will upload more photos next time.
