Day 5

This morning we visited the Womera rocket testing range

and learnt a lot about Australia's involvement in the development of rockets and missiles

It was great to see this world class facility in the middle of nowhere.

We then drove 387 k's to Coober Pedy and set up camp we

Plan to find lots of opels tomorrow. The

plan is to stay 2 nights here before hitting the dirt on the way to

lake Ayer and the onodatta track.

Damage control
We hear that you should not take evasive action by veering away from an animal. If you do the impact will be on the side of the vehicle--very costly. At least you now have sunshine again and the rain has stopped???
