rose was really really hung over this morning and it was a job to get her going, we checked out and started on the journey which i think was about 600 k/m, what i didnt take into account that the only road down was the atlantic coast road which was like driving along a country road in england with the occasional dual carriageway, it was a nightmare, there were bits on it that went down to 50kph there were little rounabouts on it and bridges that went up and down to lets boats under it was unbelievable,
there were twoo bad accidents that closed the road and no wonder when i said we were driving from bribane to sydney back to byron bay and back to sydney people in the know thought i was off my rocker, and rose being sick in a plastic bag next to me didnt help much so all in all an 8 hour miserable drive.
how you can connect two off australia s biggest cities with a single lane highway really was unbelievable.
we got to our place at diamond head late as we didnt realise you had to move the clocks an hour bot the place is incredible, we have a huge apartment right next the the beach and the area really is fantastic, didnt go out for dinner as rose is still feeling very rough indeed.
