Katoomba and the Blue mountains

Scenery more beautiful than can be described or shown in the pics I took! Also locals more weird than you can imagine!
We have been on some amazing walks in the mountains, seeing the obvious like the 3 sisters and the giant staircase (tiring in both directions), but the best was by far the ruined castle. A rock formation that takes a while to get to but well worth the sweat and mozzie bites! I stood on the very top and there is a complete 360 view of the area. To think you can be this far into the middle of nowhere and the first people we saw were Finnish and then English, Mari and I fit in well!
Katoomba is one strange place! The weather was so good during the day but the wind would start howling when the place got dark, just adding to the creepyness of the place. Not to mention the 3 oddballs staying in the hostel, they seemed to have fun talking to the telly!!!
Decided on Coffs Harbour next hope its good and the weather stays nice.
