Blue Mountains

Back to more hiking!!! We spent a full 3 days in Sydney. We did so much in Sydney it just flew past. On our last day there we went to Bondi Beach and checking out the surfers (well I checked them out at least). We also went to Sydeny Olympic Park where we visiting the Aquatic Centre (amazing) and well no wonder Australians do so well in the Olympics.

Anyway, late that evening we picked up the rental car and drove to the Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. We are staying at a nice YHA here in Katoomba for two nights. Today, we did some great hikes. The highlight of today though, was doing the Grand Canyon walk. They say it should take 3-4 hours, but it only took us 2 hours with stopping for 300 pictures (that is an accurate count). It was just beautiful scenery and we also stopped for some great videa footage.

Before this hike we did a short hike the "Three Sisters" (a lookout) which took us down a giant staircase and then to the steepest railway in the world. We then went across a skyliner which gave us more magnificant views.
