Meet GIBB 6
Over the weekend we decided to bite the bullet and take the 'Cruiser into the registration people and swap it over to our name and get its new plates. We figured that we were getting close to sorting the vehicle out. Monday was a holiday (for Anzac Day - strange) so Tuesday was the day for this event.

During our research in to the Kimberley and specifically the Gibb River Road we had come across an event called the Gibb River Challenge (a team cycling event) with some beer drinking too! This is a charity event raising funds for kids with cancer. This year will be bigger than the last and they also had vehicle registration plates for purchase too. We decided to help the fund raising and bought new licence plates for the 'Cruiser. Read more at http://www.thegibbchallenge.com.au/

I had to refill one of our gas bottles later that day and the refilling guy had noticed the 'Cruiser and we struck up a conversation. I told him about some of our mechanical issues and he had a great solution. A mechanic friend of his had just returned from five weeks in Sydney visiting his parents. I got directions
