We bought stuff for the 'Cruiser and the Gibb River Road trip and we went for sunset drinks at the Pumphouse Restaurant and Bar.

The Pumphouse is an iconic building on the Ord River. Originally, the main pump station was used to pump water from Lake Kununurra in to the irrigation scheme, however the commissioning of the Argyle Dam in 1971, allowed gravity feeding of Lake Kununurra all year around, rendering the pumping station obsolete.

Kununurra locals, Thomas and Dominique Breig then negotiated to secure the site and turn it into a restaurant and bar. The Pumphouse opened in 2008.
