It all looks amazing! I have just been re-reading bill bryson's "bit" up to Monkey Mia and understand why you wanted to go up there! Hope you're not too disappointed that you didn't go further north! but seeing Nicky in Perth and his suggestions for the south west coast must be spectacular too..and Bryson didn't do that bit round to espérance did he??!! Hope it's not too cold down there..and good luck with the drive to Kalgoorlie and a certain change in temperature again!! I'm sure the gold mines will be fascinating.
