Arriving At The Beach Bar Though we finally felt like we were on holiday and stayed for around 5 days in total.
Gorgeous weather & gorgeous beaches.. the perfect place to start relaxing and feeling like were on holiday again... so we spent 5 days doing just that. We spent our time chilling on the beach, cockle fishing, paddle boating, swimming with the local dolphins and on our last night joined an Aboriginal night tour. This did though turn out to more of just a talk though to be fair but still good. The same tour guide also did day tours where you would learn to trough spears and track indigenous animals and other of the sort but we never got around to doing though.
We were really looking forward to our next stop.. being Coral Bay, as the ningaloo reef which stretches along this section of the coast is said to be on par with the great barrier over the East Coast. Before arriving though We had to make another stopover at Carnarvon to pick up some supplies. An average small town but the only place to camp up here for the night was a retirement park.. rock on hey..!! The site was

Dolphins Cruising In The Shallows At Sunset pretty sleepy as expected but the toilet block here would have to be seen to be believed..!! It seemed that when they built this park they waxed the whole budget on this block and forgot about everything else. It wouldn't have been out of place in 5* Hotel.. featuring plants, luxury handwash, little bowls full of pebbles and pot pourey, plush folded towels and even backgound music while you showered..!!
We also managed to pick up some fishing rods to keep us entertained with a spot of pretend fishing.. which latter turned out to be process known as.. feeding fish as thats precisley all we did..!!
Ariving at Coral Bay lived up to the expectation as the place was absolutely gorgeous with crystal clear waters.. a bit reminicent of being back in Thailand. We stayed for around a week and spent most of our time sunbathing, snorkling and fishing. The highlight of our stay here was day trip out on a boat whale watching with our crew Stu and Macker... how ironic especially as Mackers last name was also McMahon. All in all a great day out with only 6 of us to a whole boat. Although there

Sunset On The Beach is no guarentee that you will actually get to see a whale we got lucky and saw not only a whale but dolphins, turtles, dugongs, all manner of rays, a hammer head shark and much more. After all that exitement we jumped into a power boat dingey and sped off to the shallows for a spot of snorkling for around an hour across the Ningaloo reef. Best day of the road trip to date and as far as to say probably in Oz overall so far.
