We limped back up the highway (making more and more noise and getting funny looks anytime we stopped) and eventually got to Kununurra about lunchtime. Kimberleyland was quite full so we booked in to the Town Caravan Park. This is a small park but, as the name suggests, it is close to the "city" or CBD of Kununurra. Importantly for us, as we might be without a car for a day or so, it was close to Wild Mango cafe and the supermarket!
There are a high percentage of permanents at Town Caravan Park and everyone is friendly, particularly Heather and Gary, the resident managers.
