The so called mini bungles
glad i didnt bother with the maxi bungles!Back from my geretric old people tour.
"hey luke, i have got you a canoe partner and she got big cans" says Kenton the hostel owner.
After waiting 2 days for this trip and a 11th hour partner for the trip, one would see this as a definite positive. Before I could ponder the plus and minus, he follows up with, they're all waiting for you mate, while cunningly walking me round to the group,
"Do you still want to go dont you"? he asks, as I stare at my potential buddies for the next few days.
A couple in their 50's. 2 spottyish girls, and quite correctly one with a fuller chest and a spotty bloke all smiling.
A lamb to the slaughter I'm thinking. The supermarket shuts in 30 mins, they've apparently been waiting 1 hour, since I am late and if I back out the 'friendly' girl has no canoe partner and no trip!
What would you do?
