Set off for Derby after visiting our favourite place, the supermarket. The 3hr drive was boring and when we arrived in Derby we were pretty unimpressed; it seemed like quite a nothing town, nothing happening and not much there. We did manage to see the prison boab tree but then after nebbing at the caravan parks we decided to make our way to Fitzroy Crossing, another 3hr drive 😞

We arrived there at about half 5 and though the town is small we're staying about 4km outside of the centre in a really nice park, Fitzroy River Lodge. When we drove in there, there were wallabies jumping about the place and cows mooching around. Later the bats came out to play and a freaky cat sat staring at us. It rained.
