Arriving in Esperance almost felt like we had arrived home. We felt so happy and comfortable there that we just wanted to stay. So we did try to find some work but unfortunately to no avail. The caravan park we stayed at was directly opposite the beach so we had a great view from our camp.

Esperance has so much to offer - the most amazing coastline with the Archipelago of the Recherche (over 100 islands popping up out of the Southern Ocean all around Esperance Bay), beautiful national parks, good fishing spots, perfect surf breaks, the list goes on.....

We spent a day at Cape Le Grand National Park which is home to one of Australia's whitest beaches, Lucky Bay. Unfortunately it was too cold to get in the ocean but we have vowed to come back in the warmer months and swim in the perfect clear blue water.

Farewell Esperance, see you again soon we hope . . . . . .
