Twilight Bay 2
...another shot...I love my new camera!We headed off for a weekend in Esperance - 4 hours from Kalgoorlie, on the south coast of Western Australia. It is such a picturesque little place. So here are some shots. The Southern Right Whales had started to come into the bays around here also, although we didn't spot any this weekend.
There is a shot here also of me getting my eye back in on the pool table after years away from the game. Happy to say I am acing it now! My Dad would be proud!
This photo was taken in a pub in Merredin (a small town on the Great Eastern Highway on the drive to Perth). I headed there for the weekend to meet up with Nicola and Mike (kiwis! - I knew Nicola - 'Pickle' from Massey Uni days, but our lovely friend Hayley Redpath (Brock) - "hi love" - put us back in contact). Mike is working in Merredin currently. On his first night in this pub someone was murdered! Needless to say, we didn't look sideways at anyone but did use the pool cues as air guitars whenever Jimmy Barnes or Bryan Adams were played!!
Nicola and I took a
short drive (300km round trip) to Hyden to see Wave Rock where I got this great shot of her and her kiwi doggie 'Jimmy'.
