Well, as whale watching was cancelled this morning due to high winds (Exmouth is obviously the place for me to not do much!), time to put some photos from the Kimberley trip on line. I'm hopping on the bus to Coral Bay at lunchtime and will spend a couple of days there, before a bus ride down the coast over 3 days - arriving in Perth on Sunday evening. Looking forward to a week there - the Fremantle festival is on next weekend so that should be good.

Truck generally had the swags on top other than when a storm threatened and a lightning bolt struck feet away from us. Obviously no risk of that when we climbed up top for a better view of something.

I have never been so pleased to find shade and water in my life. Even though the water was a bit scummy we got in anyway.

the days we didn't get to cool off (day 8 and 9) were the toughest. Temperatures well into the 40s in the shade. In the sun? Don't know!

Freshwater crocodile. Much smaller and less dangerous than the saltwater variety. We waded through a pool with a small one in it - they won't bother you if you don't bother them, unless your foot is mistaken for a fish.
