The drive south to Busselton was uneventful. We left at 09.30 in a light drizzle and just over a couple of hours later arrived in Busseltown in the sunshine. Lunch was at at the Vasse Café, a bistro/bar and was an amazingly good garlic-prawn dish on a bed of rice.

After lunch we walked the length (about 2.5km) of the Busselton Quay and then headed for our apartment in Peppermint Park, just outside the town. It is very quiet and peaceful here as occupancy is less than 10%. At busy times it would not be so quiet.

Dinner was a couple of T-bone steaks done to perfection on the camp BBQ.
