Edit Blog Post
Apologies for not posting the final blog sooner. Since arriving in WA from Honolulu, we've been catching up with people and trying to sort out our new lives. CJ has been loving it - he's had so much attention from his new extended family, and he received his birthday and Christmas presents from last year all at once. He's been getting on really well with his cousin Lucy - it's like they've been mates all their lives. Hopefully it'll be a long time before Lucy realises CJ is 18 months younger and CJ realises Lucy is a girl.
Perth has changed in lots of little ways, but overall it's still the same. On previous visits, I thought it looked so dry compared to England, but after travelling through the deserts of the US, it seems positively lush. The beaches are gorgeous and the people are so friendly (I'm not really biased because I haven't lived here for about 16 years !). Nic and I had our first time away from CJ for 3 months and went to Fremantle for a beer in the Sail and Anchor hotel and a walk around the markets and harbour. It was so relaxing I
almost fell asleep.
After all the relaxation we could handle in Perth, we came down to Busselton to well and truly slip into a coma. For those who don't know, it's a lovely beachside town about 3 hrs south of Perth where Nic's family live. Today we bought some bikes and rode along the turquoise beach in the sun. aaaahhhh. Wintry Milton Keynes seems a million miles away.
So, I guess this is where the story ends. Thanks to everyone who read it or looked at the photos - your comments were really welcome from across the miles. For those we leave behind, take care and keep in touch. We'd love to see you over for a visit sometime! For those here in WA, if we haven't already caught up, we'll see you soon! xxx

Thanks for the Journey
Where will my mornings be now without reading about some far flung interesting place. Perhaps you can do one for Fiji when you go there on Holiday next year (You never know!).
