Hi El, you look SO happy in that photo with your families! It must be a great feeling!
We are in the process of applying to migrate to Brisbane so we can enjoy some of that gorgeous weather you are talking about!
Keep in touch!

Will miss the Blog! Glad you arrived back in WA safely and that you finally escaped and had some time just the two of you.
Will REALLY miss reading your travel exploits I have to say.
Look forward to hearing how life unfolds for you guys over the coming months - best of luck and keep in touch.
xx
Thanks for the Journey Where will my mornings be now without reading about some far flung interesting place. Perhaps you can do one for Fiji when you go there on Holiday next year (You never know!).
Gilmore Girls El, Im a HUGE fan of Gilmore girls!! I Skyplus it every morning but have never come across another person who's even heard of it!
Will have a look in all future episodes for a slightly askew postcard of the fridge at the Dragonfly!!
Very jealous that you got to see the set!

Home soon! Hi All
Have so enjoyed reading all your entries and this last one also brought back memories for us of San Francisco - not least when we stayed in a hotel near a red light district and in my innocence was heard to say 'that's a nice red luminated heart sign, what is it for?' - doh!!! needless to say that was a long time ago, am no longer innocent, or young!!!
Have a great time in Honolulu.
Speak soon

Hi Guys, yes we are still here and following your every move with interest. You must be worn out with all the travelling, we are, just reading about it. Fantastic though and we are full of envy.
See you soon.
Come clean, Nic lost his shirt in Las Vegas and your moving to Laughlin had nothing to do with the price hike in accommodation, he had to resort to ripping off geriatrics!! Seriously though, it was so good to hear from you again, thanks for all the news - especially the humourous bits, and of course Calvin's adventures.
Did he win ??????? Hey guys, it is great to hear from you again. You are so descriptive El, you make us feel we are there with you. Calvin is certainly enjoying himself and learning so much. (not gambling of course) Enjoy Hollywood and keep up the blog. Luv yer all.
Good luck Nic. We log on every day to follow your progress - those photo's are awesome !!! Sad that it has been so cold on a lot of your journey but your 'GREEN GATOR BUS' looks very comfortable to travel in and I am sure it has a great heater. You will certainly be very well travelled and ready to settle down to normality - for a little while anyway. Good luck Nic !!!!!!
Fantastic Adventures. You seem to be going where no man has gone before. We are blown away by your descriptions and adventures. We will definately have to make this trip, it sounds fantastic. Poor CJ, his bonce will be all scars and scabs. Maybe a pair of those marvellous cowboy boots would keep his feet firmly on the ground, he would not be able to lift his little feet. Keep the blog coming.
Turqoise rules OK!! Hi darling neice. Loving your travelogue. Specially smiled when I read that you bought a turquoise necklace. Remember your Mama was a turquoise nut. Remember her, all dressed in her white trousers and shirt, dripping in turquoise and looking extremely smart. If you like it too, you could well inherit her stash.
Keep the news coming. We're watching your progress every day as you get closer and closer to us.
Can't wait to see you.
Much love to you, Nic and Calvin. Give him a kiss from Gago.

Hot shot CJ Was this before or after the chilli, Nic? If you eyes were clear and your nose wasn't running, it probably is before. But then, we can't see the front view!
The mark of zorro. Wow, that really is a shiner. What a brave little boy he is, battle scars I suppose. I think Calvin will have to write a book when he gets home.
crikey Poor Calvin - it almost looks like you've put eyeshadow on one of his eyes!! Sounds like Taxas is a bit like WA - big, dry, and the locals are quite parochial. You'll be acclimatised before you get here!!
What a corker! Hello!
REALLY enjoying reading your exploits - but I have to comment on poor CJ's corker - that's some black eye, bless him!
Missing old Blighty yet??? ;0)
So how does the Texan chilli compare to Nic's? I could just eat some of Nic's chilli right now (but at the moment, all I want to do is eat!!).
Look forward to reading the next episode!

Flashing lights !!!!!! Still enjoying your blog. Have you been attacked by indians yet? How many wagon trains have you seen? Take care and enjoy your travels.
At the end of 2006 we packed up our house in the UK to move to Western Australia. As our belongings take a few months to arrive in Perth, we decided to take our time getting there...... full info
