Looking out onto Port Philip Bay from the car park at Mount Martha. Geo: -38.2667, 145.013
This morning we went for a drive to Frankston because Donelle was seriously thinking about getting a tattoo on her foot. We drove along the coast through Mount Martha and Mornington. We had a nice view of the city from here. We went to the tattooist that my friend Kellie recommended. It was a really clean looking tattoo place. The tattooist took her design and told us to come back in two hours. We spent the next two hours telling Dee that it won't hurt that much. We kept her mind off the tattoo by shopping. Finally it was time to get her inked. When we got there the guy from before told us that her design of the kiwi fern would have to be much larger than she wanted it. It was going to have to be twice the size so that the detail of the fern wouldn't be lost. She didn't know what to do and wasn't sure she wanted a tattoo that big on her foot. So she decided not to have it done. I think if you are not too sure- don't do it!
I decided to drive back along the coast. We stopped at Mount

We walked past about 50 beach boxes. They are all so similar but also different. They were a range of sizes and colours. It was a shame that it was an overcast day, as it was a nice beach to swim at had it been warmer and sunnier.
From here we drove past the beach house to Arthur's Seat Lookout. At the lookout we had an okay view of the Mornington Peninsula. The area needed its trees to be cut back. Over the years the trees have grown and now blocked the view. We also sat in Arthur's Seat.
Next destination... Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm. Twenty minutes later we arrived. Geez, this place has changed over the years. I have memories from over 20 years ago of coming here with my grandparents. We came with empty ice-cream containers and picked strawberries until our containers were full with strawberries. Now they sell many strawberry food products, gifts and most importantly a cafe with strawberry based desserts. Our mouths watered as we walked past the

It seemed like a long wait, but our goodies finally came. We tasted each other's dessert and they were all so good, unlike the ones we ate in Acland St. We ate in silence and agreed that we should come back here tomorrow to try some of the other strawberry options.
We drove back to Arthur's Seat and down the hill then back to the beach house. We spent the evening eating, drinking and trying to play Trivial Pursuit.
