So this past weekend we went to the Bush to go to a rave at a camp ground. It was about a 2-3 hour drive. When we got there we set up shop...which means we prepared the van to sleep for later that evening and got into our costumes. The party's theme was magical creatures. I dressed up as a fairy and my friend went as a bat fairy...which ended up looking like the evil fairy. The party ran from noon util 5 pm the next day. The party was a blast and then returned home to Melbourne the next day. I took some photos of the drive back because we went through area where the bushfires came through. It was difficult to imagine that the entire area was on fire. This blog was a short ... read more

Great Ocean Road Hey folks! We left off last time leaving the Grampians, we headed south after this for the Great Ocean Road, a Great Road by the Ocean. In our case filled by 4x4's loaded with eskys (that's a coolbox for poms!), towels and kids off on their Australia Day (or Invasion Day as a few call it!) weekend trips to the sea. The sods get yet another long weekend - any excuse!! The scenery is indeed very spectacular, and I reckon we would recommend doing the drive to anyone in this part of the world. It's got as many cliffs and rock structures as you would ever want in a 2 day drive (and maybe a bit more!) It included "London Bridge", a double rock arch, which, ironically had fallen down in the 90's, ... read more

G'day All!! What a boring week!!! We don't work a lot at the moment as the tomato market is full!! The Mercuris don't want to sell tomatoes as there are too many on the market as they can only be sold for less than $5.00 so it doesn't worth it. So we just stay at home watching the Australian Open which I don't mind in a way as I love tennis!!! Not too much to say then, we have a new girl who lives in a caravan next to the house, Anna who is English, she has travelled a lot for the past few years and she is very nice and chatty. When I went to Shepparton I bought the Uno game (a card game) and we play it quite often it's a lot of fun ... read more

Tatura Dear all, Secong blog posted on one day but I don't know when I can post an entry next time as I don't have internet at home. I'm getting settled in Tatura now, I have been working quite a lot and enjoying this day off in Shepparton which is 20minutes from Tatura. We worked 60hours in 5days and the good news is now I have got paid for this !! The bad news was it was quite exhausting as some of my coworkers are lazy !!! We just need to sort the tomatoes and push the box when it's full and then take another box, quite easy but I move quite a lot for the whole day. I have fun at work too, the workmates are quite nice, except the lazy ones 3 girls never ... read more

Dear All, Before starting this entry let me wish you a merry X.mas !!! Hope you had fun ! The first few days in Mooroopna have been full of surprises and unfortunately bad ones. It was first very nice as I got to the backpackers in Mooroopna which actually was a 2Bedroom House with another bedroom which I think was the garage. The house was full of Asians especially except for a French who knew a girl who was working for the same company as me but in Paris we even know a person in common! Who would have thought I would meet someone who knows about Citadines (my former company)? I even know her friend! We got really surprised by thinking how small the world could be. The first day of picking started at 7am ... read more

After lieing through our teeth at the hostel on saturday afternoon. Me, Ronald and Hester head out to our 'campsite'. Thanks to Skinder and his brother we have a room to sleep in. a kitchen, shower and toilet. All we have to do is sweep out the spider that have taken up residence. No problem for Me and Ronald, we enjoyed identifing them, unfortunatly Hester wasn't so keen. After we had cleaned up, we headed in to the nearest town which was Mooroopna. It was pretty small and not a lot to see. In the evening after enjoying the sunset. We started our marathon of prison break that we continued to watch through out the next week. On sunday we headed into the next biggest town, Shepparton. Where we found a lovely outdoor swiming pool to ... read more
