So that is the end of our short and sweet Aussie experience! It has been wonderful and we have enjoyed the climate, the nature, the sea and the people who are welcoming, sociable and kind. Sydney is still our favourite but Melbourne was also a very pleasant city. The Mornington Penninsular ( out of season ) is a must

Flying Qantas to Singapore this afternoon, 7hrs45..a short one( anything is short after the 18hrs LA to Sydney !) so slowly getting nearer home. I ve booked dinner inthe Tiffin Room at Raffles but they haven t bothered to confirm my email request so i m not sure it is going to happen. Very much looking forward to meeting Harold, our airbnb host for 2 nights who has offered to pick us up at the airport too!
