On Friday night we had another house party. This time it was Kat & Sean's housewarming/Sean's birthday party. It was a little more sedate than our first housewarming (i.e. the police didn't drop by!) and we decided not to make use of the fireplace as it was rather a warm night, despite the earlier thunderstorms. Again we transformed the wild back garden into something, well, less wild, turned the fairy lights on and we were ready to partaaay! The lovely Eva made fabulous cocktails for everyone all night (with a little help from Matt).
On Saturday we met Emma for lunch and tried to recreate some
red corvettes from Friday night before heading out. We attempted to go to a reggae night in the city but that wasn't too successful. The party at
'The Clinic' (a veterinary practice now rented by students!) was fun though and the house tour was rather interesting!!
Sunday was another 40 degree day and we spent it in our newly purchased pool😊.
Thursday was Australia Day so we had the day off work again. We went out the night before and went for a swim at Elwood beach that evening.
