No photos with this entry (sorry!) as we're at an internet bank of pc's without any way to plug in.
We did a bus tour on the Great Ocean Road on the 23rd - a winding piece of scenic road along the coast. We had several stops, but the "piece de resistance" were the sandstone formations called the 12 Apostles - Greg and I did an optional (and pricey) helicopter tour to see them from the ocean, but it was SO worth it - we caught them at sunset, and I took a ton of photos - hoping one of them will turn out for our home!
On the 24th, we toured around Melbourne a little, and opted to go up the Rialto tower for a 360 degree view of the city - it's very spread out, and would be very green in the summer, I imagine.
We finished off our visit with a home cooked family meal of roast lamb and vegetables with our hosts - some family friends of Greg's - the Evans'. We took a night flight to Cairns and arrived to 20 degree weather at 1 am...
