Paradise
My own private beach G’day family, friends and total strangers.
Sorry it’s taken me a while to produce only my second blog so far but I haven’t had the chance to get on the internet in a while so don’t go thinking I’ve gone missing in the outback just yet.
Anyway I’m back in Melbourne now, I made the decision to come back here mainly for my cousins 21st birthday and to find some work for a while to top my travel funds up.
So since I’ve being back I’ve enjoyed three 21st birthday parties, a trip down the great ocean road, a Melbourne storm game, an Aussie rules game, a few nights at the casino and some work in-between.
So were do I start, well when I first got back I stayed with a couple of mates of mine who I met in Adelaide. They happened to be in Melbourne for a week and staying in a nice hotel in the city. So of course I went out on the piss with the lads for a couple of nights at the casino and crashed on their hotel room floor. We had a couple of great nights out both starting in the casino and
12 Rocks of Apostles
I could of sworn i was in Withernsea! ending in a strip club, of course it wasn’t me who wanted to go to the strip clubs! No no no. One of the two mates (Kris), was like a dog on heat when it come to women, all you heard all night was ooooww she’s alright, and hey I wouldn’t mind a bit of that and this was just walking down the street, and I used to think Rob was bad he doesn’t get on the scale of this man. After the two big nights the boys was heading back to Adelaide so I sent them on their way and headed back to my cousin’s for some much needed rest.
I couldn’t relax too much though because it was Friday and it happened to be the first night of the Nrl rugby season and the Storm were at home to West’s so I wasn’t going to miss that. So I managed to persuade my cousin and one of his mates Trav to come and watch a real sport. It turned out both of them loved it, but not so much the game it was more for the beers, fireworks and dancing girls(a little bit better than the airlies angels
Trav Marsy
The famous beer Monster that’s for sure). The highlight of it though had to be when we was stood in the beer queue when what do I see in the distance, yep you guessed it a bloke swaggering through the crowd with his hull fc top on, so that called for a bit of old faithful to be blasted out. The game itself ended with the storm winning 16-12 so they were some celebrating to be done. Luckily enough one of vellas mates was having a 21st at the local footy club pub so we headed over there. The party looked more like a funeral when we got there but we’d had a few to drink by that point so we soon woke it up. I didn’t know a single person there but I think I met just about everyone before I left.
The weekend after was another 21st, this time a girl called Kate another one of vellas friends. This party was a lot livelier mainly from the entertainment we got from one of my mates Trav Marsy. This guy was the most drunk I’ve ever seen anyone in my life. He was dropping glasses everywhere, trying to chat up every women insight,
Who's the weirdo in the shirt
Me and the boys strolling through the city setting of a fire extinguisher when he thought something was on fire, passing out in the toilets but the best had to be when the speeches for Kate from her parents was happening. Imagine it, the music’s gone of, everyone’s listening to this emotional speech from her parents when Travy comes busting through the doors from the hallway, everyone turns round to see what’s going on and he collapses through a table of beers, top comedy. He swears he can’t remember anything of the night.
During the week me and my cousin then headed out to Port Campbell, firstly to spend a night out in the bush with a couple of mates who work out there, and on the return back to drive the great ocean Road. During the night in port Campbell I spent a night having a drink in a real ozzie pub. Like the pub you see in crocodile Dundee I think crocodile Dundee and donk was sat in the corner actually. The next morning we set of down the great ocean road. I now no were all the car adverts are filmed. The views were out of this world whilst driving and we managed to stop
The family
Peter Meradith and the kids of at most of the viewing points on the way for some great pictures. We drove down the coast all day and I have to say I enjoyed every minute of it.
Then it was Chris’s 21st weekend. His actual birthday was on the Monday but his party was on the weekend after so firstly we had a night out in the city for his actual birthday and he took me to an aussie rules game between Hawthorne (Vellas team) and the demons. The Hawkers managed to win it and I actually enjoyed the game, although I don’t understand why they have to play for 2 hours. Not a patch on ruby or football.
We then had to get the house sorted for his 21st party so we managed to get a big marquee in the back garden, all the beers stocked, food laid out and a quality play list put together by me. So all that was left to do was party. Everybody turned up and had a great night but to be honest I can’t remember much of it so I can’t write too much about it sorry.
I’ve being working in-between these parties as well to try
Havin it large
getting warmed up for the party and top my funds up. I’m hoping to work for a little longer here and then head up to the gold coast in Queensland for a while.
So there you have it I hope you all are updated now got to go because I’ve being typing for ages and it’s doing my head in and I’ve got a pool competition to win at the local, so bye for now
P.S come on you uuulllaaaa, those robins will hopefully keep quite now.
