I made it safe and sound to Australia and have just been taking it easy these last few days. The lookout point that was build during the war is 761 feet from bottom to the summit. They say you should expect 30-45 minutes to get to the top so of course I needed to see how fast I could do it. 10 minutes to the top for me, 15 on the way down due to slow people! :)

The buildings inside the crater are used for the military.

VOG

The haziness is caused by the volcanic ash in the atmosphere and they call it vog. Vog days are very humid.
