Pretty lights!
Helloo there everyone...

This week we have mostly been in Melbourne, sampling the sights and sounds and munch in this funky city 😊
Melbourne is cool and small enough to get about the whole of the city centre on foot, or if you're lazy like us - on the tram (once youve figured out which one you want and where the hell its going!)
Theres lots of shopping, museums and yummy places to eat - like the chocolate heaven that is Max Brenners Chocolate Cafe! Must have been in there about 3 times so far this week - the best hot chocolate and cakes and puddings ever...all served with a lil pot of melted chocolate for you to dip into! Mmmmm...there are giant 10 kg slabs of dark, white and milk chocolate around the cafe - but they cost about $150, and even i couldnt eat one of those! Definatley a place for chocoholics 😊

We've visited the Old Melbourne Jail (scary), where Ned Kelly was famously hanged, Melbourne Museum - complete with its Neighbours set and stuffed racehorse, and even been to the casino - where it quickly became very obvious that Rozi just doesnt get gambling. Or

slot machines - saying 'Why are these people just putting all their money into these machines', and on having a go herself was shocked that 'Its eaten all my money!', eventually proclaiming, ' I dont see the point in it!' Not a likely candidate for Gamblers Anonymous then...

Ventured to the seaside suburb that is St Kilda, which kinda like the English seaside, with a nice beach and a pier with an old fashioned kiosk, and funky lil shops as well as cake shops to die for!!! Seriously, we mustve put on about a stone since we've been in Melbourne - we keep finding so many yummy things to eat!
We also paid a visit to the rockers mecca that is ACDC Lane - cant believe they've actually named a street after them - and the crazy architecture that is Federation Square.

But one highlight of our visit to Melbourne of course has to be the legendary 'Meet the Neighbours Night' at some pseudo British pub in St Kilda. Was an absolute rip off, but we got meet some of the Aussie tv legends that are the Neighbours cast! Harold Bishop turned out not to be that fat

in real life, and told really dirty jokes...it was just wrong! Our team actually came 3rd in the random trivia quiz somehow - and it was all a good laugh!

Next week we are off into the Aussie countryside, to see some of the 'Real Australia'...watch this space!!!

Missing you all,

Rozi and Steve
