The bus picked us up early this morning from Hobart and we started travelling the west coast. There are twelve of us including the driver. Our driver's name is Bruce!

Our first stop was Mount Field National Park and we walked to Russell Falls. We spotted a few paddymelon wallabies on the way. After the walk to Russell Falls we did a rainforest walk, where you can sometimes spot platypus', while Bruce cooked us our lunch. We didn't see any Platypus' but it was a nice walk, with a mini beach at about halfway. Bruce is a good cook (he's written a cookbook) so we had a lovely hot lunch.

We're staying in a house in Strahan tonight. We have the house to ourselves and it was so nice to just be able to chill out in a house with big comfy sofas and a TV. We watched a bad Australian quiz show and drank beer while Bruce cooked us dinner. We had three courses! It was all scrummy.
