Still overcast and windy we left Pimba at 8.30. Not long
into this drive we heard a large bang and hiss from the engine. Aargh what
could it be….. We pulled over and found to our relief it was only the hose for
the turbo charger. Handy David fixed it no probs.

We stopped at Glendambo for fuel and found about 50 bikers
there as well. Not sure where they were going but we have had so many more pass
us along the way. They are all heading south.

Coober Pedy was another fuel stop and lunch. Only 75km more
to our next stop at the free camp Pootnoura. We arrived there about 2.30 and
the place filled up with vans and backpackers. So many people on the road this
trip. Still cold and cloudy so Jen and Nat set up camp under the shelter.
Pissed some people off but 1st come best spot we reckon. Another
early night as its too cold to sit outside in the dark playing I Spy.
