After arriving at Port Macdonnel we had a restful couple of days, walking along the sea front, visiting the local library to use the internet and watching penguins from the headland up the road. A few days in Kaye (Eve's sister in law) had arranged a get together with her family. We had a traditional Ozzy barbie with traditional English BBQ weather. The family were very welcoming, especially Kaye's mum who was a real Grandmother. Kaye's brothers 'entertained' Eve with all of their stories of snake bites and trips to the hospital. We followed this up with a visit to the family farm, where Kaye's mum made a great lunch then showed us around, Eve even sat in the tractor.
