During our time in the Flinders, we applied for a job orange picking in Wakierie, inland SA. We heard back and it sounded positive and as we weren't too far we headed down there. We met the manager and all sounded good, except for when we were shown the accommodation....not even something you'd let your dog sleep in! I wasn't safe structurally or clean so we thought we could stay in a local vanpark....wouldn't make as much money but better than nothing. So we rocked up and paid for a week, hopeful we could get on with the job. After a few days we heard nothing back, maybe because we wouldn't stay in their accom we don't know, but we cut our losses and headed for Adelaide.
Whilst we were on the road to Adelaide, we come across 1. the biggest gum tree in SA and 2. the famous shoe tree!
We stayed in Adelaide for 3 days/2 nights, enough for us we thought. During our time there we did the usual art galleries and museums! We also went to one of the local beaches, a few small parks and a conservation park. I thought adelaide was a nice
sized city, not too big but big enough to have some good hustle and bustle that you need in a city! Plenty of good shops and restaurants too. In Adelaide they have trams still which I thought was cool!
