Adelaide is a nice, compact City, with pretty good shopping, bars, things to do. They don't make the most of their river though. We spend the first day wandering around getting our barings, and in the evening get tickets for the Moonlight Cinema in Adelaide Botanical Gardens. We took wine, a picnic, blankets and hired 2 waterproof beanbags to sit on. The film was Chasing Amy, a cult classic starring Ben Affleck. Great evening.

16th - Debs needed a culture injection, so went to the South Australian Art Gallery which had some really interesting English and European art from early settlers, as well as Australian/Aborigony pieces. Spen went trainer shopping (say no more!) but we met for lunch in the gallary and had a nice snack.
