Laura's Arrived!

my adventures have begun again- Laura arrived yesterday. She had a good flight and it was so good to see her again after so long. Today we went to Adelaide Zoo for the day. We saw lots of Australian animals, including a really cool Tasmanian Devil but it was too quick for a photo. It was going loopy- just running round his little enclosure in circles! We also loved the yellow footed rock wallaby and the Kookaburra (had to look up the spelling in a dictionary- did you know it's also called the laughing jackass!!) We saw alligators, kangaroos, koalas and lots of other great animals.

After we had seen all the animals we took a walk next to the river, towards the city. It was a beautiful day, so sunny and warm. We had a look around some of the shops in the city center and then we decided to get some Sushi. We both got chicken terriake and avocado- it was delicious. We also went to an ice cream parlour and had some ice cream and sorbet.

A great start to our time together and our sight seeing of South Australia : )

We have lots of fun things planned. The weather has cooled down quite a bit which is good for the sight seeing- yesterday at the zoo was pretty hot. Lots of love from us both x x x

Laura, I bet you didn't know who was behind you in the river whilst you had your photo taken ..... ask yourself .... did Beccy keep saying "back a bit, back a bit" when you were posing ... have a great time. BTW .. who is that girl in the photo with you ? and how is Beccy? .... your MUM dictated this (well may as well have done ...) she keeps checking my grammar and spelling ...... Oh it's ok she's gone now....... have a bestest tim in da werld x
