Weds 7th Nov:
Up early and ready to leave Rocky as soon as Laz was up, just took an instant dislike to this place. Pretty miserable weather today, wet and muggy. Stopped at the mall on the way out and headed for Mackay, only a 2hr drive. It was a slow road but arrived by early afternoon.
